Our God chose to BECOME the Lamb!!!

What a wonderful God!

The Passover lamb was a ritual required for God to pass over a household and is a symbolic type and shadow of the coming Lamb of God. It was symbolic of salvation by the blood of Jesus (the Lamb of God), which was to come.

Exodus 12:3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

Exodus 12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

The blood of the lamb "saved" those who had the blood on the door.

The penalty for sin is death, and God established that the blood of an unblemished lamb could be used as an offering for forgiveness of sin:

Leviticus 4:32 And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.

It's important to understand that God knew, when He created man with free will, that he would sin. He had a plan to become a man, and to save mankind from himself and his sin, by coming to the earth as a man, and becoming the final sacrifice for us!

Colossians 1:15 Who (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

1 Peter 1:20 Who (Jesus) verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you...

He was foreordained: Greek NT:4267; to know beforehand, i.e. foresee: The human being Jesus did not exist before He was born of a woman into this world. He was foreseen and planned by God, and was made manifest in these last times for us as Peter said.

Everything was made by Him and for Him. It's all about God becoming part of His own creation and dwelling with His chosen saints forever! That's what it means when it says, "by Him and for Him". All things were created with this in mind. God was planning to become part of His creation from the very beginning.

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh...

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word (the Divine Expression), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God; ... 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

God became a man by being born into this world as we are!

Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

And He made Himself the final sacrifice for our sins!!!

There is no other God, but Satan has created multiple false religions and false gods to deceive man, and seduce him away from the true God.

And NONE of these false gods do what our God did for us!

Like, Molech requires sacrifice of children...

Jeremiah 32:35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

None of Satan's false religions have any such wonderful, loving God as the One True God, Jesus Christ.

The false gods demand the sacrifice of our children to worship them!

Allah makes no such sacrifice. Baal makes no such sacrifice. Buddha makes no such sacrifice. Molech instead demands your children's lives.

There is no other god like our God. Our God is so loving and kind, so merciful and longsuffering, so gracious and compassionate, that He chose to become our sacrificial lamb and shed His own blood for us!!!

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Our God chose to BECOME the Lamb!!!
