Israel... should we love and honor Israel or hate it?

What is Israel? How did it come into being?

About 400 years after the Flood of Genesis, a man named Abram loved and believed the Lord amidst an evil world.

People were already turning against God again, only a few generations after the flood destroyed the entire world because of the wickedness of man. They were already forgetting what happened and why!

God created a people for Himself through Abram because Abram was obedient and loved God. God gave him a new name; Abraham. Gen 17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. 8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan (which is where Israel is today), for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Gen 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

James 2:23 Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

After the flood, when men began to multiply on the earth once again, evil began to reign once again. Cities like Sodom and Gomorrah were completely evil and deviate, so God chose Abraham to father a people for Himself.

His grandson, Jacob, became Israel (God also gave him a new name and changed his name to Israel) and begat 12 sons who became the 12 tribes of Israel.

Gen 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel

God chose Jerusalem to put His name on the earth, a place which we should honor and reverence as God's place even when populated by wicked people as it is today.

1 Kings 11:36 ... Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put my name there.

2 Chron 6:6 But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.

Now, before we go any further, the modern Jews practicing Judaism are not following God, and have been hewn off of the "tree" of believing Jews.

We, who are not Jews but love Jesus, are graciously graffed into the tree which is true Israel (those Jews who do love Jesus), but we should not be boastful or highminded about it! We should be grateful to God and respect that Israel is His people, His land, Jerusalem His city, and be humbly graffed in and not conceited about it.

Rom 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: 14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. 15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? 16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; 18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. 19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. 20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. 23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. 24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?

We need to be grateful for the chance to be included! Do not hate Israel because the world tells us to, or because they have once again turned from the truth and don't believe in Jesus, for "Blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in."

Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.  26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. 30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: 31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. 33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? 35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? 36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

They're our enemy for the gospel sake, "but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes". For Abraham's sake!

Thank the Lord for an obedient man like Abraham! Thank the Lord that gentiles are able to partake in the promises!

Gal 3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Praise the Lord Jesus! Thank you for Abraham and Your promises! Praise your Holy Name, Lord!

God will restore Israel when He returns...

Zechariah 12-14 and Ezekiel 38-39 both speak of the Battle of Armageddon in Rev 16 and 19, and specifically say that God will save the remnant at that last day.

Zec 12:9  And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 

Note that God will not allow destruction of Jerusalem. It will exist at the last day.

Zec 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.  11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.  12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;  13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;  14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart. 

Zec 13:6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.  The Shepherd Struck 7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.  8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.  9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

Eze 39:25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;  26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.  27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;  28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.  29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

God will not allow destruction of Jerusalem because He put His name there. When I visited Israel, I walked on paving stones in the old part of Jerusalem that were there when Jesus walked in Jerusalem. It has never been completely destroyed. It never will be!

He will save the remnant of Jews who remain alive after the tribulation and the wrath of God because He said so!

But wait! What about these evil Oligarchs that are running the world into the ground and destroying civilization!?!? Many of them are Jews!

Think about this: If Satan knows what he's planning, and I'm sure he does, and he hates Jews more than anyone else because God chose Abraham for a people, then it makes sense that Satan would use Jews to produce his Oligarchs so when the world see's what's been done, they will hate Jews. This is why the Jews are some of the main players and why so many think it's all because of the Jews. Satan orchestrated that!

This is why the Antichrist will be hunting down Jews and Christians and killing them, and the world will be ok with it! Satan knows and he's planning for it.

Satan also has a special hatred for Jews because Jesus is a Jew...

Should we hate these people because they're so evil?

Mat 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

We don't give in to evil, but we don't hate, either. We pray that God will intervene on our behalf and trust Him to take care of everything.

God will reward them their dues... it's not our place to do such things. They'll get what's coming to them.

Remember, Satan doesn't love anyone and hates all of those who worship him, and he's going to stab the "elites" in the back when he trots out his Islamic Antichrist and takes over the world with him.

Jerusalem is run by wicked people, but God is still going to do what He said.

To say, just because Jerusalem is run by wicked men it can't fulfill God's prophecies? Remember that Jesus called the temple holy even when it was run by children of the devil when He was here on the earth.

He called the leaders of the Jewish religion in those days children of the devil: John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil... They are the same children of Satan today, yes.

We don't love the evil that people are doing, and we don't have to just lie down and let them do as they will. But we don't recompense evil with evil. We should not hate. Be angry, yes, and take care of our own the best we can, but don't hate. Serve God.

Love Israel for God's sake, and Abraham's sake, and watch for the prophecies concerning Israel and the last days. They are upon us!
