Every time I read Psalms it reminds me how David, a man exalted by God and a man after God's own heart, was imperfect. He laments over and over, grieving about his iniquities. No one is perfect but God Himself, and when we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit upon salvation, He gives us strength and desire to change, but no one ever reaches perfection in this life as it is impossible. Those who wish to justify themselves will point fingers and condemn others every chance they get, but all we can do is continue walking in the Spirit and praying without ceasing and trying to please Him. There's a big difference between willful sin and being imperfect. The Almighty God, Jesus Christ, is forgiving and understanding and knows our hearts. He inhabits the praises of His people. Thank you, Lord, for being who you are! Praise your holy name!
