At The End of the World - We will be Hated for the Name of Jesus...

Jesus warned us not to get caught in the snare that ensnares the world before He returns...

It's not a warning to the world, it's a warning to us, as the world WILL get caught in it.

Just as a hunter creates a disguise for his snare, so also does Satan in preparing his snare for mankind...

My brothers and sisters in Christ, I have a question for you...

Do you study the Bible for your truth and instruction, or do you just listen to other people like a pastor or friends and family?

When Jesus warned us to watch and be prepared, are you obedient in this?

Let's talk about what that means.

Jesus said it would be brother against brother, children against parents, etc... That we would be hated for Jesus' name.

Islam and contentions about religion is causing this to happen all over the world today and will get much, much worse when the Antichrist takes over the world!

This is one of the signs that He said would herald His coming...

Matthew 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

Jesus promised everlasting joy to those who forsake this life for the Kingdom of God! Look at the following scriptures...

Matthew 19:29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

This does not literally mean to hate your family, it means to put God first and love Him more than you love your family, and if your family does not love the Lord and are disobedient to Him, we should not make excuses for them, but should put them out of our lives for the Lords sake.

This does not mean we stop witnessing to those who will listen, but if they stop listening we must shake the dust off our shoes and move on...

Jesus simply requires us to love Him more than our family! This is the point of His teaching here.

He warns us that our family will become our enemy!

Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that takes not his cross, and follows after me, is not worthy of me. He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.

Jesus goes on to warn us that it will be those of our own household that will be the one's who betray us in the End Time!

Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

But, put God first, and take heart, for we shall laugh and we shall be filled, for our reward is in heaven!

Luke 6:20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

God Himself will wipe the tears from our eyes, in our grief over those who refused Him...

Revelation 7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

1 Peter 2:19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps...

God's promises are our hope, and His example is our following!

And we heed His warnings!

Beware of the snare that shall come on all the world!

Luke 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand... And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Escape what? The snare... the surprise... "take heed", lest "that day come upon you unawares"...

Like the parable of the virgins with oil (Matthew 25:1 through 13), and those virgins who were unprepared, means we should be prepared and watch... or we will miss the marriage!

Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

This is a warning to those who are not prepared, not to those who are...

1 Thessalonians 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

We are NOT IN DARKNESS that that day should overtake us as a thief! Only those in the world, those in darkness, will be overtaken as a thief...

Jesus said to the church, IF YOU DON'T WATCH, I WILL COME ON YOU AS A THIEF! It's ONLY those who don't belong to Jesus, those in darkness, that will be surprised!

Revelation 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Mark 13:37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Jesus did not say we would not know the approximate time, He only said we would not know the exact day or hour. We will know the "time" and will be prepared. He gave us much information about what to expect!

He even told the disciples that it's not for them to know... It was not going to happen in their lifetime!

Act 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

It is for US TO KNOW!

The snare that Jesus warned of is being caught unawares... not understanding, and not being ready!

Those who believe in a pre-tribulation rapture...

Those who just continue with their lives, pursuing their goals in this life...

Not having shed themselves of the world (people who don't love Jesus)...

Those who do not look for the lying wonders of Satan and to help dispel them...

Those who claim differently are those who have fallen for the lies of Satan! These lies were created by Satan so the church will be caught in the snare that Jesus warned of in Luke 21:34 through 36. The snare He mentions is that, "that day would come upon you unawares"... you'll be caught with your pants down...

How must we be ready?

We must have already bidden farewell to those who don't love Jesus...

Again, this does not mean we stop witnessing to those who will listen, but if they stop listening we must shake the dust off our shoes and move on...

Jesus does not say, "Come when you're ready", He says, "Follow me NOW"...

Luke 9:59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

The dead burying the dead here are the dead spiritually. Those who do not love Jesus. Leave them to their own destruction!

Have you put your hand to the plow but you keep looking back?

Are you blatantly ignoring Jesus' point blank instructions???

Are you one of the many who refuse to forsake their family even though they don't love Jesus?

Do you understand that if you wait and that day catches you unprepared that your family will be those who endanger your life and will be the ones who turn you in?

Understanding that Islam is going to play a big part in the end time is part of it.

Satan is setting up the world to accept Islam as a global religion...

These are what I call the Great Lie, the lying wonders of Satan that come with power!

2 Thessalonians 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders...

We need to understand these things in order to be prepared!

For us, personally, when the time comes and we go off grid to serve the Lord, no one who is not fully active in the ministry will come with us when we go off grid.

There will be no one who has proven they love their family more than the Lord...

There will be no one who has proven they don't really love the Lord...

This is paramount! Those who don't love Jesus will be the ones who will turn you in! Friends, family, those closest to you, yes! Them! Jesus warned us of exactly this!

If they can't let go of their family, they'll be in contact and their family will get our whole group killed.

We who love Jesus and are preparing for the days we know are coming soon, have already come to an impasse with those in our family who deny Jesus. We don't party with them as if they're just fine. We know that they will die in their sin and we tell them so! Mostly, they won't talk to us any more.

We have to understand that this is reality! God is reality! This life is just temporary. The new heaven and earth will be the permanent and only those who love Jesus now, in this life, will be able to go there!
